Art Retreat in Idaho

You may have never heard of an art retreat, What is it? It's a get away a time to relax and paint, sew, write, draw, etc. Not only do you relax and create, but meals are included, activities and opportunities to make new friends with common interests.

I went to an amazing retreat organized by my new friend Katherine Jensen Her company is named Kitchy Witchy Retreats, She has a talent for making food that warms the soul, with nutrient rich ingredients she invites you to love your body and the food she prepares.

We ate like Queens, and I found myself excited about each meal.

Kat offered us a gift exchange and classes to help us go back to our lives ready to return to the real world with new organization skills, and encouragement.

It isn't easy to be a mom, a wife, and about anything else. We shared our experiences with each other, and helped each other. It was 5 days and 4 nights of rest and inspiration.

Facial by Lisa and ear piercing by Rebecca, I decided to get two new piercing and It was a nice thing to have done in a cozy living room around friends, and not at a tattoo parlor around strangers.

Yes, I even got a sucker for being good. It was a lot of fun.

I would love to organize a artist retreat one day, and I hope my future guests would have as much fun and support as I had at the kitchy witchy retreat.
